Editor's Verdict
👍 Pros
- ✓Genuinely stylish, boho/modern design that reviewers consistently say looks higher-end than the price point suggests, and has been featured in Architectural Digest
- ✓Sturdy, well-marked components with clear assembly instructions praised repeatedly, even for larger multi-piece sets like bookcases and armoires
- ✓Wide catalog covering nightstands, dressers, buffet cabinets, sideboards, and more, with a distinctive rattan/boho aesthetic
- ✓Responsive customer service in many documented cases, including prompt handling of a damaged shoe cabinet
- ✓Free shipping on all orders and an above-average 360-day warranty advertised by the brand
👎 Cons
- ✕Assembly is genuinely time-consuming on larger pieces, with some reviewers reporting 4+ hours to build a single item
- ✕A meaningful number of BBB complaints describe defective or damaged pieces (misaligned drawers, walls coming apart) along with difficulty getting a full refund rather than a partial discount
- ✕Some components, like anchor-hole cover stickers, are considered a cheap touch compared to the rest of the build quality
- ✕A few reviewers describe furniture as feeling somewhat flimsy despite looking accurate to photos
- ✕Customer service response to defect/refund requests is inconsistent — some resolved quickly, others report unresponsive follow-up over weeks

Frequently Asked Questions
Most reviewers say yes — the design and finish consistently look higher-end than the price point, though a notable minority of BBB complaints describe defective or damaged pieces on arrival, so it's worth inspecting your item carefully once assembled.
Larger pieces like armoires and bookcases can take 4+ hours to assemble according to multiple reviewers, though instructions and part labeling are generally described as clear. Having a second person help is commonly recommended.
Many customers report prompt, professional resolution, but a number of BBB complaints describe difficulty getting a full refund (sometimes only a partial discount offered) for defective items, so it's worth documenting any damage with photos immediately upon assembly.

Great experience with Sicotas and their customer service team. When my shoe cabinet arrived damaged, they handled the situation promptly and professionally.

Solid piece of furniture that looks great, but labor intensive to put together, took over 4 hours to assemble. The anchor-hole stickers also don't stay on well.
