BWH Plant Co Review: Is This Florida Houseplant Shop Good for Buying Plants Online?
BWH Plant Co is an Orlando-area plant shop with its own greenhouse in Apopka, Florida, selling common and rare houseplants online with a shipping guarantee. Here is what it sells, how plant shipping works and tips for ordering.
What is BWH Plant Co?
BWH Plant Co started in 2019 as a side project among friends and was originally called Bros with Hoes Plant Co. Its online store launched in October 2019, and it opened its first physical store, Jungle Room, in September 2021. The company is based in Orlando, Florida and grows plants at its greenhouse in Apopka, often called the indoor foliage capital of the world. It sells houseplants from easy snake plants and ZZ plants to collector philodendrons, along with potting mixes, plant care products, candles, merch and gift cards, and says it has shipped more than 500,000 plants.
Details are based on the brand's website as of October 2026 and can change. Check the official site before ordering.
How to order plants from BWH Plant Co
Buying plants online works well when you plan for size, season and care.
Check the pot size
Listings show pot sizes such as 4" or 6". Smaller pots are cheaper but take longer to fill out.
Pick plants for your light
Snake plants and ZZ plants handle lower light; philodendrons and monsteras prefer bright, indirect light.
Watch the weather
In very hot or cold weeks, consider heat or cold packs if offered, or wait for milder weather.
Unbox right away
Open the box as soon as it arrives, water if the soil is dry and let the plant acclimate before repotting.
Know the guarantee
Read the Plant People Promise and refund policy so you know how to report damage quickly.
